First the Du’a to reach Ramadan:
اَللّٰهُمَّ سَلّمْنِيْ إِلى رَمَضانَ وَسَلّمْ لِي رَمَضانَ وَتَسَلَّمْه مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلا
Allahumma sallimni ila Ramadan wa sallim li Ramadan wa tasallamhu minni mutaqabbala
Allah! Preserve me until Ramadan, safeguard Ramadan for me and accept it from me (receive my deeds with acceptance)

In this post, we will continue to share three essential yet simple ways to prepare for Ramadan, each designed to enhance your physical and spiritual state for this blessed month.
-
Spend time with Quran. Ramadan is the month of the Quran, try to connect more with the verses during the month. What is our current relationship with the Quran? have you neglected it? Let’s start picking it up daily so that we can be used to doing that. It’ll be easier in Ramadan to be more connected to the Quran if we have already started developing those habits beforehand.
-
Maintain any nutritious diet, try to prepare your body. Leading up to Ramadan by having healthy well-balanced meals, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Reduce the amount that you’re having in the daytime , so maybe have a smaller lunch or even start delaying your lunch till later in the afternoon or early in the evening, so that you get used to having those hours of no food. if you are used to depending on caffeine now is the time to start cutting back and changing your routine, so that you can adjust for the month ahead.
- Make a list of Ramadan duas as it could be difficult to make in the moment, trying to remember all the duaas that you want to be making during the month of Ramadan. This is something that you can do ahead of time. Prepare a list of prayers and just keep adding to the list. You can take advantage of your time in ramadan by making sure you make all the duaas that you want to make without trying to figure out what you are forgetting.
Bonus Tip:
-
Save yourself time and meal plan before Ramadan. start and just sit down with a pen and paper and decide what meals you want to have. Maybe you decide Saturdays is 'this dish' Sundays is 'this dish', that’s it every week you just repeat that menu and save yourself time from trying to figure out recipes, grocery shopping, and all of that if you have a plan ahead of time to cut down on all the time. That way you will have more time to do other things in Ramadan.
